When will I increase my possible pregnant dog's meal? She's eating a half kilo of raw chicken meat mixed with veggies. Moreover, when will I start to introduce vitamins for pregnant dogs? Lastly, is it not okay that my dog jumps everytime I'm about to feed her?(Miscarriage issues) Her first stud session was June 22, 2018 and her last was June 26, 2018. Thank you. Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! I recommend starting pregnant mothers on puppy food. Commercial puppy food will provide all the nutrients, vitamins and appropriate calories she needs. I do not recommend raw or home cooked diets as they are deficient in the appropriate nutrients unless balanced by a nutritionist.
