I can't tell if my cat is going into labor, she keeps meowing for my attention, she pants a lot, she has been affectionate, but her appetite is fine and she isn't nesting also sometimes her stomach looks bigger than other days, so I can't tell if she is pregnant or not. Thank you for the help. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 10 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I can't tell for your pictures either if Jinx is pregnant. She wouldn't be uncomfortable or even nesting until the end of her pregnancy. And at that time it would be obvious: big belly, developed mammary tissue. If she isn't pregnant she could be in heat as they are more affectionate and vocalize more. Cats are only pregnant for 60 days, so if you still think she is pregnant you can take her to the Vet for an exam and X-rays towards the end of the 60 days to confirm. Otherwise if she keeps panting that is NOT normal in a cat and she should be seen. I wish you the best!
