Is it safe to give dog dewormer and Heartgard at the same time?

Hi! I was out of town last week and my young puppy had worms so my friend gave him and my older dog Prosense. I got home today and my boyfriend gave our dog her monthly heartgard. I wanted to make sure there is no concern or need to contact poison control for giving her both of these ? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 40 lbs

No worries. There is a wide safetly margin with the amount of dewormer a pet can have in one sitting. Olive will be just fine with the dewormer and heartworm prevention given at the same time. : ) In fact we give heartworm prevention and bi-annual dewormers together all the time.
