Why is my dog throwing up green mucus and undigested potatoes?

Today I found vivid green thing two times on the floor in dog's room, second time after better look at the texture it looked like potatoes but covered in something like green mucus, yesterday my parents gave my dog a lot of potatoes with spices (without asking me before giving it to her). Beside that she's acting normally. Why is it covered in green and will she be okey? Pet's info: Dog | Japanese Spitz | Female | spayed | 2 years and 9 months old | 11 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Can you post a picture? I am thinking that Joshie either vomited the potatoes and the green is bile or defecated the potatoes out whole and is having green mucousy diarrhea. I would monitor him closely and feed a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice. Feed 1 cup per 20 pounds per day until normal stool. Feel free to repost with a picture. I wish Johsie the best!
