Please help! I'm a 13 year old girl who has been hoping to foster kittens for some time now, I've done a lot of research, and would say that I know most of what to do. I recently was looking through Craigslist and found someone in my area selling a THREE WEEK OLD kitten! They stated that yes, the kitten has a mother, and no, they are not selling the mother. Only the kitten for $25. Now, I know it's illegal to sell kittens under 8 weeks, but if I were to buy her, would I face legal consequences? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female
