Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered | 9 years and 6 months old | 72 lbs
Our 9.5 year old golden retriever Barkley was given 1-3 months to live in March. He has a mass on the bottom of his heart and a lesion on one of his ribs. There was nothing we could do to help him. We started giving him golden paste and CBD oil. He's been doing well so far. About a week or so ago his poops have been wet and orange in color. Today he got sick a few times and isn't really eating his food. Some things he eats but not much. Should I be concerned about his poops?

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I am sorry to hear about Barkley. Organge poops are concerning for possible liver disease (the yellow colour suggests the liver is not working as well), and diarrhea is concerning as well. Not wanting to eat like normal is also a sign of not feeling well. You can try him on a bland diet of boiled/boneless/skinless chicken breasts and boiled rice to see if it is just a gastritis that has thrown off his gut, otherwise I would suggest getting bloodwork done to see if his liver is OK. I hope he feels better, best of luck with Barkley!
