Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | spayed | 9 years and 10 months old | 82 lbs
My 9 year old boxer is dragging her left back toe. Sometimes she has a hard time getting up. She still runs when she’s outside. I bought non slip boots but they turn after she’s had them on a few minutes. My vet has her on 2.5 cc. of Meticam a day and I give her Dasuquin. I also ordered her a brace, but I can’t leave it on her all the time. Thanks for your time and help.

Thanks for using PetCoach. If she is slipping on floors, ToeGrips are sometimes more helpful than booties. https://toegrips.com/ If it is pain or weakness sometimes acupuncture can make a world of difference for senior dogs. Please be sure that you find a veterinarian that does acupuncture in conjunction with her current medications. If it has not been done X-rays to try to localized the cause of her problem can sometimes help determine the best therapy. (Ie back or hips or knees or all?) Best of luck I hope this helps.
