I bought saltwater Ich-X. Can I use it in my freshwater tank?

I accidentally bought ich x for saltwater. I’m wondering if I can use it in my freshwater tank?

Unfortunately, even though the organisms that cause Ich in freshwater fish is related to that which causes it in saltwater fish, it is not the same organism. Due to this, I would not recommend using this product in your freshwater tank. I hope that you are able to return the product and get the correct one!
