My cat pukes when my parents fight. Is it a stress response?

hello! i have a question. why does my cat always puke after/when my dad fights with my mom? the cat is very close with my mom and my dad will verbally abuse my mom and the cat will almost always puke during or after the fight.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Alex. I would suspect that the vomiting is a stress response based on the description you have provided. If he vomits frequently other times as well, then he should see his veterinarian. If the vomiting is limited to your parent's fights though, then stress is most likely. I am very sorry to hear about your situation. You can try moving him to a safe quiet place the next time there is a fight and see if this helps him. I hope this information helps.
