My 8-week puppies scratch from fleas and won't sleep. What to do?

Question

I have 2 Great Pyrenees puppies that are about to be 8 weeks. No shots yet per vets orders. They have had ticks and fleas and I’ve removed all of them I think but they keep scratching, what should I do? Also they are not sleeping at all through the night, recommendations? Pet's info: Dog | Great Pyrenees | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 16 days old

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The scratching is likely due to flea allergies. Fleas are very hard to remove so even if it does not appear like they have fleas, they probably still do. At this age, they can be on a flea preventative like Frontline plus. The seemingly lack of sleep is likely a typical puppy behavior and this improves with time. Good luck and have a great day!
