My can always comes in the house to use his box. I noticed the other day at first there was neither poop or pee. Finally he had pooped. But no pee. He is diabetic and has insulin twice a day he always has big pee spots. Two days after he pooped, he finally peed two Tiny spots. I clean his box every day. So, I know his usual habits. Then for the last two days he's been horribly cranky! He screams at me, for things he'd never normally do. He even swatted at me, when I walked by. He's he's ten

I would be concerned by the lack of normal urination in a diabetic pet - they are very prone to urinary tract infections due to higher than normal sugar content in their urine which can encourage bacterial infection. I strongly recommend a urine test to determine exactly what is going on. Your vet may have special cat litter to collect a urine sample or may be able to draw a sample directly from the bladder with a needle in order to investigate fully what is going on
