My puppy got wrong deworming dose. Is his hair loss related?

Hi.... I have a mix breed puppy .... I had done his 2nd deworming on 23rd of this month, i gave him 2 ml but later I came to know that his actual weight was 4 kg. What should I do now?.... He is also having hairfall problem... Is it because of wrong deworming? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 2 months and 14 days old | 1.81436948 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Deworming medicine is safe, so whether you under or overdosed Stagger he will be ok. You can give him the correct dose if you under-dosed him so he is properly dewormed. The hair falling out is not likely from the medicine or from intestinal parasites. He could have a microscopic skin parasite that needs to be addressed with different medications. I recommend taking him to a vet to look for mites under a microscope and get him the correct medications if needed. Good luck and kisses to Stagger!
