Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 1 year and 5 months old
What can I do? I can’t take him to a vet because it’s already late at night. My dog I think is having a seizure. He was lively when he was last seen but then after 10 to 15 minutes, when I came out to to call him to feed him, he didn’t come to me which he usually would. And I tried to find him and found him lying on his side on the grass unconscious. He is still breathing and I tried to get his BPM which is 100-101bpm 3 times. He is a Chihuahua x Spitz. He is drooling and has blood on his stool.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Seizures can occur due to many reasons that go from a toxicity, metabolic diseases, inflammatory diseases and even tumors. I highly recommend that you have Ice evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible for further assessment and treatment. You could consider an emergency veterinarian that is open at this time. If there are no emergency veterinarians open in your area, make sure to take him as soon as they are. This is not something that can really be managed at home. Diagnostics that will be recommended will include bloodwork and advanced imaging such as an MRI. They would also be able to start him on anti-seizure medications to try to avoid the onset of more seizures. Good luck and have a good night! Hoping for a speedy recovery!
