My dog is lethargic with bloody stool after beach trip. Is it serious?

I brought my dog back home from vacation this weekend we went to the beach and she has been acting very lethargic and has had loose stool with a little blood since we came back. Her gums are pink and her nose is wet and cool but I’m just worried if it would be more than just being tired from the trip ? Possibly dehydration ? she hasn’t eaten today but had drank water. Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Female | spayed | 1 year old | 10 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If Hachi is having some loose, bloody stool I would recommend a vet visit. She may just have a GI upset from stress, but if she is also lethargic she may dehydrated to the point of needing fluids or medications. In some cases of gastroenteritis, dogs may require hospitalization for IV fluid therapy. I hope Hachi is feeling better soon.
