My cat got Clavamox in its eye/nose or an extra dose. Is it safe?

Hello I have a prescription for my cat called clavamox. When I was trying to squirt it into the side of his cheek it sprayed up towards his eye and nose. I was wondering if it can hurt him? Also I wasn’t sure how much sprayed out so I gave him a little more not even a half ml his medicine is suppose to be 1. Can it hurt him if there’s a change he got a little extra?. Thank you for your help my name isSharyn and my cats name is tailz. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 10.5 lbs

Hi Sharyn. Just wipe of the antibiotic from his nose, and gently rinse his eye with cool water, and he should be fine. If Tailz did get a little extra Clavamox, this likely won't cause any problems but you may see a little GI upset. I hope this helps.
