My dog has sudden bloody diarrhea. Is it from a bone or new dogs?

Hi, is there any disease or parasite that can cause a dog to have bloody diarrhea the same day? I drove my friend to the animal shelter and she adopted two dogs today. When i left my dog this morning I left her a small bone to chew on and keep her busy while I was gone. I took her over to play with my friends new dogs three hours ago. She just had bloody diarrhea that smelled just like the shelter my friend rescued her dogs from. After going over there her dogs have runny diarrhea too.

Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and parvovirus both cause bloody diarrhea, but I'm concerned about the bone you gave Molly to chew on. Bones can cause perforation of the GI tract as well as damage to the tract, and that could also be the cause of her bloody diarrhea. If the dogs also had bones as well, that could cause their diarrhea too. Bloody diarrhea can be very serious, so I'd have her checked out by a vet as soon as possible. Best of luck, I hope this helps.
