My puppy has a serious paw wound. What emergency steps can I take?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 9 months and 28 days old | 15 lbs

I find out that there is a serious wound on my puppy’s finger. He might be hurt by my another dog or himself. What can I do about it for emergency? Any medicine I can use? Thank you

Poor Wonton. That looks deep. Since it isnt actively bleeding, the main thing is to make sure he doesnt lick it. I would put a cone collar on him if possible to prevent this. I would take him to your vet as soon as they open this morning. Your vet will be able to clean it and see if he needs any stitches and get him started on the proper meds to help it heal. If you havent already, I wouldnt feed him breakfast just in case they need to sedate him. I hope this helps!
