Why does my cat yelp and run when I touch his back? Is he in pain?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | 35 lbs

My cat is having seizure type things when I touch his back and he yelps and runs into the other room what do I do and is there a cure.

From your description, it doesn't sound like Ash is having a seizure. It sounds more like his back is in pain, and it is hurting him to have his back touched. I would have him seen by a vet for this problem. The vet can diagnose what is causing his pain, and can treat him for it. Please do not give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. Have him seen by a vet in the morning. Best of luck.
