My dog is pregnant she is about one year and 5 months old maybe a month or two over . She’s a very healthy staffy she’s pregnant and about to pop she has discharge every so often out her vagina and she’s crying every so Oftern is this normal? Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 30 lbs

During this stage, the cervix begins to dilate and the uterine contractions start. This first stage of labor can last up to 18 hours, after which the dog begins actively pushing and gives birth to the puppies.
