My dog has frequent eye boogers. Is this normal or a concern?

Dogs get eye boogers just like humans right? I clean gizmo’s eyes at least 5 times a day. It seems like as soon as I wipe them off they’re back in 5 minutes. is this normal or is there something I should be using on him? Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 9 months and 20 days old

This could be due to an eye injury or conditions such as a corneal laceration, corneal ulcer, conjunctivitis, dry eye (also known as KCS), among many other conditions. I highly recommend that you have Gizmo evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Further therapy would be based on the findings. Good luck and best wishes!
