Why dogs smell peoples genitals?. Stela always do it with me and with my visitors friends. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 30 lbs

I think dogs tend to focus on this area because there are a lot of strong smells around and it may help dogs identify different people. It is not particularly polite behavior and Stela were my dog I would probably discourage her from doing this - try having the new person ask Stela to sit and offer her a treat to distract her.
