Hairloss is not a common side effect of diarrhea. In some cases, if the diarrhea is severe enough and your cat is not absorbing proper nutrients then yes, it could cause hairloss. However, it is much more likely that your cat has more than one issue going on and a trip to the veterinarian is indicated to help sort things out.

    Cats can lose hair for multiple different reasons. Some reasons include poor diet, parasites (fleas/mites), infection (bacteria, yeast), or metabolic problem. You will need to talk to your veterinarian about finding the cause so that you can get her on the right treatement. In my experience it is unlikely that the food will help with the shedding problem, although omega 3 supplement will help maintaining what is left in good condition.
