My cat's nose scab bled when wiped. Is it an abrasion or infection?

I am worried about my cat. I was cleaning up his face with some pet wipes when I noticied a weird a weird scab on this nose. It wasn’t very big and so I thought it was a booger or something and I decided to wipe it. To my horror, his nose started bleeding because of the scab. Do you have any idea what this might be? He has been licking at it and so it must be irritated by now. (Most recent picture from tonight attatched.

This is an abrasion on his nose. I can't give you the original cause but it can be from him scratching his nose on something. I wouldn't put anything on it because he will just lick it off. I would monitor him and make sure it doesn't get infected. If it starts to look infected I would bring him to a vet to have him looked at.
