Why are my dog's eyes and ears still bad after allergy diet change?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 6 years old | 11.9 lbs

Nonstop vet visits bc BAD allergies. Last was for infected toe sore from licking at night- needed cone & steroid inj. Pic is wat we use/tried. Apoquel is on/off bc causes bad constipation. cytopoint inj never help. Changed 2 new diet-helped ALOT w/the 24/7 scratching licking & skin issues but eyes & ears still bad. RX eye drops for when infect but last 3x vet said no infect. Have 2 clean&use drops daily bc builds up bad fast. Saw this going2 Vet but rly worried/shocked. What caused this? Advice?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could be due to an eye injury (which could be from him scratching) or conditions such as a corneal laceration, corneal ulcer, conjunctivitis, dry eye (also known as KCS), among many other conditions. I highly recommend that you have Bentley evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Further therapy would be based on the findings. Good luck and best wishes!
