My dog ate a cooked chicken bone. What symptoms should I watch for?

My beagle ate a cooked chicken leg 4 days ago, grabbed it right out of my husbands hand. He seems to be doing ok, he has not passed any bone or fragments. H us eating

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The shards from chicken bones can cause intestinal tears and can form blockages. If Jackson is eating and having normal bowel movements, he may have passed the fragments without your noticing. If Jaxson is. It acting like himself or is having diarrhea or vomiting, especially with blood, he should be seen by a vet right away. I hope this helps and am happy to answer any other questions you may have!
