My dog ripped bandages, hates cone. What's a better cone alternative?

My dog has had surgery on Wednesday to remove a tumor from her leg. She has now ripped off her bandages and I have spoken with my sis in law who is a vet nurse and she explained how to put it back on until we get the bandages changed on Monday. Our dog hates the cone, to the point she gets so stressed and starts running backwards. We are worried she is going to hurt herself so we had to take it off. We need an alternative please help this is so stressful!!! Pet's info: Dog | Bullmastiff | Female | spayed | 5 years and 10 months old | 30 lbs

Try getting her one of the inflatable donut type collars to prevent her from getting to it. They are available at most large pet supply stores. I would contact your veterinarian today instead of waiting until Monday.
