Chicken and rice is good to feed when they have diarrhea, but there are special intestinal diets that are formulated, which are just as good. Hill's and Royal Canin both make this type of diet and it can be prescribed by your vet. One thing to keep in mind is that cats are obligate carnivores, so they simply cannot have a vegan diet. People can get away with it, because we are omnivores and know which foods to substitute for sources of nutrition that are high in meat. It's completely OK (and admirable in my opinion) for people to be vegan, but you will need to buy food with meat and other animal products for Runiyah in order to keep her from having a nutritional deficiency. I hope that helps and Runiyah gets better soon.
