My 5 month old puppy has difficulty obeying my commands: to stay, to leave things, to not tear up training pads, and to play with his own toys. He thinks my other dog’s toys are his as well, leaving my other dog with nothing to play with. What can I do to get him to understand these things? Oh and he also thinks my other dog’s ears are toys so he tries to bite them. #help

Bleu is being a puppy. I would recommend utilizing a crate. This will help him give time to be separate from your other dog. He won't really ever understand what toys are his vs your other dog. He thinks of it as just toys he can play with. I would also recommend getting him tired. Taking him out multiple times to play and go on walks. A tired puppy is a well behaved puppy. If he starts acting up and you are not able to take him out at that point it is ok to put him in the crate to calm down. It isn't a punishment. I would just give him a treat and put him in there. If all else fails then I recommend a trainer. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
