Why are my dog's head and neck sores getting bigger and bleeding?

My dog has sores on head and neck under his chin. I thought they were from playing with our kittens but today they look bigger and bleeding slightly. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 85 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If the sores are getting bigger I would recommend having Gotti seem by a veterinarian. It appears that he may have a skin infection. Keep the lesions clean and dry until then, but he may need some antibiotics. You can use a mild antiseptic shampoo to clean the lesions but be sure to rinse well.
