Why are my dog's red, sticky eyes not healing after vet treatment?

his eyes started to redden,some yelow secreta in 'em, Cleaned'em with cotton and warm water, became worse,in the morning they're completely closed,sticky. I took him to the vet,he gave an ointment,I used it then was ok,after 10 days the problem appeared again, I took him again to the vet,gave him a vaccine/shot,and said we come after2weeks if he doesn't get better, today is the11day,it's still bad,I need 2 know what's going on.when he cleans 'em they're bloody!pls tell me what to do.THANKS❤️

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could be due to an eye injury or conditions such as a corneal laceration, corneal ulcer, conjunctivitis, dry eye (also known as KCS), among many other conditions. I highly recommend that you have him re-evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. At this time, it may be good to see if your veterinarian can refer you to a veterinary ophthalmologist as they have already attempted therapy without much success. Further therapy would be based on the findings. Good luck and best wishes!
