My puppy ate beef fat, now vomiting & lethargic. Should I worry?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | 6 lbs

Yesterday she ate a piece of beef fat from a roast, not a big amount. She's,10 weeks,old. Early this morning around4am she started throwing up, and had diarrhea. All,she's,done,is,sleep. She took 2 bubbles,of her kibbles today, no water ..I,did force about 3 tables spoons down her . should I be worried

I would recommend you take her in. She may have some pancreatitis from the fat. (Her pancreas may have become inflamed trying to secrete enough enzymes to help digest the fat). Or it could be coincidental and she also ate part of a toy or something and has an intestinal obstruction, or maybe she has Parvovirus. A lethargic puppy is always a worry. Since she’s not wanting to play, I’d take her in. Good luck with her! I hope she feels better soon.
