My dog's nose is bleeding with watery wounds. Is it serious?

hi may name is anne, i have a labrador named max. early this morning my younger sister woke me up to inform me that my lab's nose is bleeding i went to him and check up on him and i saw some watery wounds more likely chicken pox and later this afternoon saw his nose has wounds all over it. my question is there a home remedy for this kind of condition and what is happening with my dog?

I am sorry to hear about your dog. If he is a dog who tries to escape his crate and these could be wounds from excessive rubbing of his face on the bars, you can try a topical antibiotic ointment. We do, however, worry when we have lesions on the nose or where the skin of the nose meets the fur about immune disorders like lupus which require veterinary care. I would recommend bringing him to the vet for an exam if he is not an excessive rubber on the cage bars.
