Can we found rabies in my pet from beginning??....or ...and what time i should give lucy rabies injection?...and if lucy bites does we suffer from virus or not?? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | 1 month and 20 days old | 1.102 lbs

Hello, Rabies can only be diagnosed after the pet has died. So most of the time, you are unable to detect rabies before death. Your pet cannot give you rabies, unless your pet has rabies. So if Lucy bites you, you will not get rabies unless Lucy was bitten by another animal and got rabies. You should vaccinate Lucy for Rabies when she is 16 weeks of age.
