My dog swallowed the squeaker from her toy. What should I do?

I gave my dog a toy and she chewd it up and I think she ate the squeaky part? What should I do?

If Piper swallowed the entire squeaky part of a toy, then it may not be able to pass through her GI tract because of its size. You have a couple of options. You can immediately go to your vet to have them induce vomiting if she ingested it within the last 30 minutes. This is sometimes successful for objects that are too large to pass out of the stomach. If you do not decide to do that, you need to monitor her closely for any abnormalities. If she does not feel well, does not want to eat, or starts vomiting, she needs to see a veterinarian immediately. If the squeaker gets stuck in her intestines it can be an emergency. Good luck!
