Will my cat only have one kitten if she was an only kitten herself?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | unspayed | 11 months and 18 days old

My cat was the only kitten of her litter, does this mean she'll also only have one kitten per litter?

No, this does not necessarily mean she will only have one kitten per litter. Younger cats and much older cats tend to have smaller litters, so perhaps your cat's mother was quite young when she gave birth.
