My dog won't drink water, eats ice, and her pee kills grass.

Question

My dog is not drinking but will eat ice cubes she eats fine and when I take her out to potty she deadens the grass what can I do or give her to stop the dead grass and to het her to drink more. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 11 months old | 63 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You can try and add in chicken broth to the water to see if this entices Miaya more to drink water. You will have to regularly change the water as the broth will spoil. I would change it out every 3 hours if you are going to do this. If she continues to not drink water, I would recommend having her examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps!
