Will my dog survive pregnancy she is coming 2 in October and is in heat she got out of the garden and another dog had stuck to her I’m just wondering if she’ll survive pregnancy and how can I help her. Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | 1 year and 8 months old

Hi there. Generally speaking, most dogs do survive pregnancy just fine. There can sometimes be complications with labor and delivery, just like in humans, so this is definitely something you will need to watch out for when the time comes. If you don't want to take any chances and aren't planning to use Layla for breeding, you could opt to go ahead and have her spayed now - this will abort the pregnancy and prevent her from becoming pregnant again in the future.
