My dog has dog acne and I was wondering what I can get over the counter for him for it to clear up? I know it’s bothering him. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 3 years and 5 months old | 75 lbs

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Poor Rocco! Your pictures look like a deep pyoderma (skin infection). To try and treat at home I would use a medicated shampoo that contains benzoyl peroxide once daily on the shin and then apply mupirocin ointment on it twice daily. You can google this ointment and find it online. If it doesn't get better Rocco should see a Vet for oral antibiotics.
