My dog's wart fell off and is bleeding. How do I care for the wound?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 10 years old | 20 lbs

My dog had a wart on his leg, a big one, and we've been cleaning it in salt water ever day, around 4 times a day, and it fell off today. The wound is bleeding but not seveare, we have cleaned it and put a bandate over it, he is him normal self, he is still eating and playing, is there anything we can do?

You can continue disinfection at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths twice daily for the next 4 days. Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid any licking/scratching. It is best not bandage as the healing will be much quicker. If the lesion do not resolve in 4 days time a check up will be needed as antibiotics may be required.
