My 5-month-old kitten is sick. Should I still give her vaccines?

Hi . My kitten is bout 5 months old hasn't had any of her shots and has been seemingly I'll for bout a week now. My question is can I give her the 3 way vaccine I got for her even with the possibility of her being sick? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 10 days old | 2 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I do NOT recommend vaccinating a kitten who seems anything other than healthy. If Brittany has an infection or depressed immune system, she may not be able to mount a proper response to the vaccine so it may not be worth doing. Or worse, it could be more than her immune system can handle at this point and it could make her feel even worse. Save yourself the trouble and wait until Brittany is feeling 100%.
