My dog has dry, red, itchy spots on head and ears. Is it poison ivy?

What is this? She has been recently put outside in the backyard but i’ve notice it’s dry skin and red itchy spots on top of her head and on her ears. I expected that it must be poison ivy because she was in the bushes before. ( she wouldn’t really let me take a picture). Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 25 days old

Judging from the pictures, this could be a skin infection, skin allergy, reaction to something such as poison ivy or skin mites. So that the most appropriate diagnostics and treatments can be recommended, I would recommend having a veterinarian take a look at this in person. There are various treatments for the above causes and it would be best to have a veterinarian determine what the cause is based on a physical examination and further testing. I hope this helps!
