My female dog has a red stomach lump she keeps licking. What's wrong?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Hello Doctor, One of our street dog about 7 months old was depressed from 2-3 days. I found it active again today but making wierd sounds. After which i found a big lumb near the lower stomach region of it. It was red when i saw it and it used to keep licking the lump again. Is dangerous or a common symptom. Please let me know what medication it has to take if any. It is a female dog

This appears to be a large mammary tumour or mastitis which with her other symptoms is very concerning. She must be assessed by a vet to determine the most appropriate treatment, both conditions can ve life threatening if not treated
