My cat has a squinty eye, discharge, and twitching. Is it serious?

My 1 year old indoor cats left eye is very squinty and has whitish brown watery discharge. It is bothering him you can tell. I’m worried though that His legs have started twitching, now his back too. And almost tenses up when you touch him, like a spasm almost. We have an appointment tomorrow, i want to make sure though it doesn’t sound more emergent to you. Thanks.
