My 3 yr old yorkie was given a new treat a med size chicken stick.she went straight out to the garden and passed a mushy stool a bit like wet bread . I too lol her walk an hour later and her stool was soft but pale brown not diorreah she seems fine in herself and drank water after her walk

I am sorry that Lucy is having a hard time after eating this new treat. I believe from what you have described that a component of the teat does not agree with her, and in the future it would be best to avoid these treats entirely. Instead try cooked boneless chicken breast chunks. For now do the following to make her more comfortable; plenty of fresh water withhold food for 2 hours give her a bland diet of boiled boneless chicken breast and steamed rice add cooked, skinless sweet potato to help with the loose stools If she continues to have issues, begins to vomit or have profuse diarrhea, seems unwell or in pain, please post another question to the forum so we can help you further, and seek medical attention immediately.
