Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | spayed | 4 years and 9 months old | 6.5 lbs
I adopted a 5 year old female persian two months back. She also has a sister of the same age as her. The caretaker told me it is okay to adopt her alone as they do not play together. However, i will be working in a few months time which mean she will be alone at home for many hours. Will she be okay alone or should I adopt her sister too?

It is perfectly find to have one cat even if you are going to be gone for hours. Many cats are single animal households. If you want to get another cat you can try to make sure they still get along but they may not even interact with each other while you are gone. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
