Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | 5 months and 11 days old
I have listened that budgies who get 3-4 months older gets their first molt and their head bars are vanished but my 6-7 months older he has not yet gone through his first molt. His head bars are also not vanished. Is this a normal behaviour?

The barring on the head may be decreased, but depending on your bird's genetics and coloration, they can still have barring on the top and back of the neck- however with each molt as they reach sexual maturity, you may see fewer bars on the top of the head or near the nose and beak. This is normal! You may also not see a full-blown molt in some birds as they will be growing in new feathers at the same time they lose the old, so it is very possible Kiwi has molted and you just didn't notice.
