My dog's penis is stuck outside and turning white. Is it an emergency?

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. Based on your description and the picture you have provided I would recommend having a veterinarian examined Bubba so that the most appropriate Diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. When the penis is stuck outside the prepuce comma such as what is going on in the photo of Bubba, it is a condition known as paraphimosis. If the penis becomes discolored and white, this usually indicates that the circulation to the penis has been compromised. When the penis gets stuck outside the prepuce, the prepuce can act as a tourniquet and cut off circulation to the penis itself. The sooner this is look at, the better I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
