Hartz flea drops failed my cat. What's the best alternative treatment?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 6.3 lbs

My cat has fleas and I gave her the first topical drop from the 3 month drops by hartz but i dont think its working so should I follow up for the next two months with the drops or should I use another brand or the pill/tablet method

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You may want to try a different brand. Hartz has been around for a very long time and it not likely as effective anymore as some of the other brands out there. You can try giving Capstar which is kills adult fleas within 30 mins and lasts for 24 hours and then following up with once monthly Advantage II for cats (over the counter) or once monthly Revolution which is a prescription flea preventative. Keeping Jackie on year round flea preventative is recommended even for indoor cats. I hope this helps and thanks again for your post!
