Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 12 lbs
My cat is super active at night for a few days, she keeps scratching the sofa and running around. She is spayed. We have two scratching cardboards and a cat tree for her. We just moved to a new apartment for 3 weeks and she seems accommodating quite well for the new environment.

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Being more active can be a sign of boredom, stress/anxiety, or just her exploring her new environment. I would suggest trying to give her more stimulus during the day or in the evening. A laser-pointer for her to chase around works nicely to get her tired out for the evening. Also, new scratching posts can be an option as well. It is also possible that she might smell cats outside, and might be stimulated to want to play with them at night, if the cats are roaming at night, and that might be making her more active. Try trimming her nails in case they are just longer and she is trying to shorten them. Also, you can try a Feliaway diffuser which helps some cats feel less stressful or anxious. Scratching and activity at night can be a difficult problem to treat, and it will involve just trying multiple things. Best of luck with Gungun.
