Forgot to clean cat litter box. Will my cat use it or make a mess?

I'm watching my housemates cat while they're away, and I've never had a cat before. I cleaned the litter box yesterday morning fairly early, but forgot to clean it this morning before leaving for work. Should I be worried for when I go home? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed

I am sure she will be ok. Same cats can be very picky, do not use the litter box if dirty and urinate/defecate somewhere else. Hopefully this is not going to be the case! Please post again on the forum if you would like to discuss it further. I hope my answer was helpful.
